PREMIER LEAGUE QLD - Expression of Interest - 2026 Season

Dear Queensland Clubs,

An opportunity has now opened to enter the 2026 Premier League QLD (PLQ).

The Premier League QLD continues to be recognised as one of Australia’s premier lawn bowls competitions — growing bigger, stronger, and more competitive each year. The 2026 season promises to be the best yet, with new dates, format, match times, and participating clubs.

With the endorsement of Bowls Queensland, the PLQ has now been moved to a new time of year – August 2026.

Competition Details:

·         Played at the same time as pennant.

·         Four rinks (16 players) per team

·         6-week competition

·         Triple-header weekends

If your club would like to enter the 2026 Premier League QLD, please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via email by Friday 17^th April 2026.

In the event that multiple clubs apply to join the 2026 competition, the Board will review all applications and select the the strongest entries to compete in the 2026 Premier League QLD.
